INTERNSHIPS IN RUSSIA
Don’t just study Russia. Live it!
We offer short-term unpaid internships in Russia. A combination of the structured and the spontaneous, our programs take you out of the classroom and away from Moscow and St. Petersburg. You get resume-worthy work experience, all-day Russian practice, and a first-hand look at what modern-day Russia is like. Our internships normally take place during the summer, but can be individually arranged at other times of year well.
Unfortunately, the 2020 summer program is on hold due to uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. We are hopeful that it will still go ahead in mid- to late summer. If you have an interest in joining us, please let us know by submitting an application.
How it works
A Crossroads Eurasia internship includes the following: an internship placement of your chosen type, accommodations with meals, a local Russian-language tutor, local 24-hour support, and help with prep (e.g. assistance with your visa). In other words, we take care of the logistics, so you can focus on what’s most important — engaging with Russia’s day-to-day first hand.
Our internships are organized and administered locally. Each placement is adapted to your needs and support, if you need it, is always close by.
WHAT OUR ALUMNI SAY
“Crossroads is great for those who want to learn via exposure. Your language skills improve quickly and you see true Russia (as opposed to a westernized experience in Moscow or St. Petersburg).”
Blake Atherton (Georgetown University)
